Terminator

Terminator is a terminal emulator written in Java.
Linux has more than it’s share of terminal apps. Mac OS X also ships with `terminal` but it d ~~oes not have tabs~~.
update: the terminal app that ships with 10.6 supports tabs and hence I no longer use Terminator.

If you get “terminal not supported” error when you log in to remote machines using Terminator and SSH, copy
`$HOME/.terminfo/t/terminator` file to the same location on the remote machine.
